Tourist Attractions in Wellington

The Panther Ridge Conservation Center in Wellington is a favorite destination spot for families. The center is a non-profit agency dedicated to caring for feline species that have been neglected, abused or abandoned. Some of the species that live at Panther Ridge Conservation Center include cheetahs, jaguars, leopards, ocelots, pumas and common barn cats. The center was founded in 1999 and houses approximately two dozen large feline species as well as countless horses and cats. Visitors appreciate the way the large cats are treated with dignity by their owner and the opportunity to receive a private tour.

The Binks Forest Golf Course is set on 220 acres and is known as one of the most unique golf courses in Southern Florida. One of the most unique things about Binks Forest Golf Course is that golfers can't see the adjacent holes due to the pine trees that line the fairway. This golf course was completely renovated in 2007 and was named one of the top 75 public golf courses by Golf Digest magazine. There is also a 30,000 square foot clubhouse that contains a pool, locker rooms, a ballroom and a fitness center.
